Anwayshan Tech Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 235, Binnamangala, 2nd Floor, 13th Cross Road, Indira Nagar 2nd Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560038, India ("glide," "we," "us," or "our"), is the owner and operator of the "glide" brand, the website https://www.justglide.ai (the "Site"), the glide mobile application (the "App"), and all related browser extensions, APIs, integrations and tools (collectively, the "Service" or "Platform").

This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect from you and from content you import into the Service, how we use, store, share, transfer and protect that information, and the choices and rights available to you. Please read it carefully together with our Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

This Privacy Policy is an electronic record published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder (including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021), the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), and other applicable laws. It does not require a physical, electronic or digital signature.

By accessing the Site, creating an Account, installing the App, granting any permission, importing any content into the Service, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to our collection, use, storage, processing, transfer, sharing and disclosure of your information (including Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Data, as defined under applicable law) in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to anyone who visits the Site, registers an Account, uses the App or any glide integration, or whose Personal Information we otherwise process in connection with the Service.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you provide to, or that is collected by, any third party (including social-media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat and any other platform from which content is shared into or imported into glide), any Third-Party Partner, any payment processor, any AI model provider operating under its own terms with you, or any other third-party site or service linked from or integrated with the Service. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of digital majority in your jurisdiction), you may use the Service only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must accept this Privacy Policy and the Terms on your behalf and supervise your use. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 in any jurisdiction; if we learn we have done so, we will delete it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information (a) that you provide directly, (b) that is generated automatically when you use the Service, (c) that is imported by you or on your instruction from third-party sources, and (d) that we receive from third parties.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account & contact information – name, username, email address, mobile number, password (stored as a salted hash), profile photo, date of birth, gender (if voluntarily provided), city/country of residence, and language preference.

  • Authentication data from third-party sign-in – if you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, Instagram or any other identity provider, we receive the information they share according to your settings (typically name, email, user ID, profile photo).

  • Travel & exploration preferences – interests, food/dietary preferences, budget, travel style, accessibility needs, languages spoken, saved cities, wishlists, itineraries, notes, ratings and reviews.

  • Bookings & reservation information – traveller names, contact details, dates, party composition, special requests, and similar information required to facilitate any booking made through or with the assistance of the Service.

  • Payment information – when you transact, billing name and address, last 4 digits and brand of payment card, UPI handle (if used), and transaction reference. Full payment-card and bank-account details are collected and stored by our PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors; we do not see or store full card numbers, CVVs or full bank credentials.

  • Identity documents – where required for a booking, verification, KYC, or fraud prevention (e.g., passport, PAN, Aadhaar reference number, driver's licence, voter ID, government photo ID). We do not store full Aadhaar numbers; we use OTP/reference-based verification where possible.

  • Communications – content and metadata of messages, chats, prompts, voice inputs, support tickets, survey responses, feedback, and any media you attach.

  • Job applications – if you apply for a role with us, the information you submit (resume, work history, education, references, and anything you say during interviews).

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Device & technical data – device model, OS and version, app version, browser type and version, screen size, language, time zone, mobile carrier, IP address, advertising identifiers (where applicable), and unique device identifiers.

  • Usage data – pages, screens and features used, time spent, search queries, prompts sent to our AI features, items saved, taps, scrolls, clicks, navigation paths, referral URLs, crashes and diagnostics, and engagement with notifications and emails.

  • Approximate location – inferred from IP address and similar signals, used for fraud prevention, localisation and showing relevant nearby content.

  • Cookies, SDKs and similar technologies – we and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, local storage, mobile SDKs and server-side equivalents for authentication, security, preferences, analytics and (where you have consented, if required in your region) marketing measurement.

2.3 Information You Import or Authorise the Service to Access ("Connected Data")

The Service is built around helping you turn content you discover online into trips, plans and saved places. To make this possible, you may choose to grant glide access to certain content and permissions. We only access these categories after you grant the corresponding permission, and you may revoke any permission at any time through your device settings or your Account.

  • Imported social-media content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks, posts, pins, videos, captions, links, comments, descriptions and metadata) – when you share a link, paste a URL, use the share sheet to send a post to glide, or connect a social account, we ingest the URL and any publicly available content reachable from that URL, including captions, hashtags, geo-tags, on-screen text, audio, thumbnails, and any structured metadata returned by the source platform or by our processing of it. Where you connect an account, we receive only the content scopes you authorise (for example, your own saved Reels, your own posts, your own collections). We do not download or store videos beyond what is required to extract relevant signals (such as places, addresses, durations, prices and descriptions) and to display a preview back to you.

  • Photos & media library – if you grant access, we can read photos you select (recommended) or, if you grant full access, your photo library. We use this to (i) let you build trip albums, (ii) extract EXIF metadata such as date and GPS coordinates so we can place a photo on a map or timeline, and (iii) suggest places based on photos you actually took. We do not upload your entire library to our servers; only the specific images you choose to attach to a trip, plan or post are uploaded, and only the metadata necessary to power the feature is retained.

  • Contacts – if you grant access, we can read your address book to help you (i) find friends already on glide, (ii) invite friends to a shared trip, and (iii) auto-fill traveller details for bookings. Contact information is matched on-device or via hashed identifiers wherever feasible. We do not sell contact information, do not use it for advertising, do not send marketing messages to anyone in your contacts on your behalf without your explicit per-message confirmation, and we delete contact data on revocation or account deletion.

  • Calendar – if you grant access, we read events you select to align itineraries with your availability. We do not modify or delete events without your action.

  • Camera & microphone – used only while you are actively taking a photo, recording a video, scanning a code, or using a voice feature. We do not record in the background.

  • Notifications – if you opt in, we send push notifications for trip reminders, shared-trip updates and (if you opt in) marketing.

  • Payment-method tokens from your device wallet – only when you choose to use Apple Pay, Google Pay or similar.

  • Browser-extension data (if installed) – the URL of the page you choose to save, the page title, the selected text, and any images you choose to clip. The extension activates only on your click; it does not monitor general browsing.

2.4 Information from Third Parties

  • Identity providers (Google, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) as described above.

  • Travel partners and aggregators – booking confirmations, traveller status, and related information.

  • Analytics, attribution, fraud-prevention and advertising-measurement partners – aggregated and identifier-level data about your interactions with our marketing and with the Service.

  • Public sources – information you have made publicly available (for example, public posts you have linked to glide).

  • Referrers and inviters – if another user refers you, we receive the referral identifier they were issued.

2.5 Sensitive Personal Data

We avoid collecting Sensitive Personal Data (such as financial information beyond what is needed for a transaction, biometric data, health data, sexual-orientation data, political opinions, religious beliefs, caste, or genetic data). Where any such data is unavoidable (for example, dietary preferences that may imply religion, or accessibility needs that may imply health information), we collect only what is strictly necessary, process it only for the purpose you provided it, and apply additional safeguards. We do not require Aadhaar; where Aadhaar-based verification is used, we follow UIDAI requirements and store only reference identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process information for the following purposes, subject to applicable legal bases (your consent, performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests not overridden by your rights, and compliance with law):

1. To provide and operate the Service – creating and maintaining your Account, importing the content you ask us to import, generating itineraries, recommendations, summaries and other AI-assisted outputs, displaying maps, enabling sharing with friends, facilitating bookings, and processing payments via third-party processors.

2. To personalise the Service – tailoring suggestions, search results, prompts, content ordering and notifications to your stated and inferred preferences.

3. To communicate with you – sending transactional messages (account, security, booking, support), responding to your requests, and, with your consent where required, marketing messages. You can opt out of marketing at any time without losing transactional messages.

4. To improve the Service and our AI features – debugging, testing, analytics, fixing errors, conducting research, measuring feature performance, A/B testing, and training or fine-tuning our own models on data we are lawfully entitled to use. We do not sell your personal content to third parties for their independent model training. Where we use third-party AI providers, we contractually prohibit them from using your inputs and outputs to train their own foundation models, and we configure their APIs with the strictest available retention setting.

5. To keep the Service safe and prevent abuse – fraud detection, spam and bot detection, content moderation, intellectual-property enforcement, security monitoring, abuse investigations, and enforcing our Terms.

6. To comply with law and protect rights – responding to lawful requests from authorities, defending ourselves and others against legal claims, complying with statutory record-keeping (for example, tax and consumer-protection obligations), and exercising or defending legal rights.

7. For business transactions – evaluating, negotiating and completing any merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or bankruptcy proceeding involving glide.

3.1 Automated Decision-Making and AI Outputs

Many features of the Service rely on machine-learning and large-language-model systems to generate text, recommendations, summaries, itineraries and similar outputs from inputs that include your prompts and your Connected Data. These outputs are probabilistic, may be inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date, and must not be relied upon as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, safety, visa, travel-advisory or otherwise). You are responsible for verifying any information that affects your safety, health, money or legal status before acting on it. You may contact us if you wish to contest a decision that significantly affects you that was made solely by automated means.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share Personal Information only as described below. We do not sell your Personal Information for money.

  • Service providers and processors – cloud hosting (including AWS, with primary storage in India and the United States), database, storage, email, SMS/WhatsApp delivery, analytics, attribution, customer-support, security, anti-fraud, content-moderation, mapping and AI-inference vendors. These vendors process Personal Information on our documented instructions, under written contracts that require confidentiality, security and (where applicable) data-protection terms.

  • AI model providers – we may transmit your prompts, parts of your Connected Data, and conversation history to AI infrastructure providers for the sole purpose of generating responses for you. We instruct these providers, by contract, not to use your data to train their own models and to retain it only as required to provide the service, after which it is deleted in accordance with their data-handling policies.

  • Travel partners – when you ask us to make or facilitate a booking, we share the information required to complete that booking (traveller name, dates, payment confirmation, special requests). Their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

  • Payment processors – to process transactions.

  • Other users – information you choose to make visible (profile, public itineraries, reviews, shared trips, comments). You control your privacy settings.

  • Authorities and others – where required by law, court order, lawful request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, protect our or others' rights, property or safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms.

  • Professional advisors – lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, under duties of confidentiality.

  • Corporate transactions – acquirers and counterparties in connection with a merger, financing, sale, restructuring, bankruptcy or similar event.

  • With your consent – any other sharing you specifically authorise.

A current list of our material sub-processors is available on request from team@justglide.ai.

5. Content You Import: How We Treat It

Because importing content from third-party platforms is central to glide, please read this section carefully.

  • You confirm you have the right to import. By sharing or importing any URL, post, Reel, video, image, text or other content into glide, you confirm that (i) you have the right to do so under the source platform's terms and applicable law, and (ii) you grant glide the limited licence described in our Terms to process that content to provide the Service to you.

  • What we ingest. We ingest the URL plus the content reachable from it (caption, transcript or auto-generated transcript, on-screen text, audio fingerprint, thumbnail, hashtags, geo-tags, descriptions and any structured metadata), and we extract derived signals (such as place names, addresses, coordinates, cuisines, price points, durations and themes).

  • What we keep. We retain the URL, our derived signals, your interaction history with the content (saved, planned, dismissed), and minimum previews necessary for display. Where we cache portions of source content for performance, we honour platform requirements and creator deletions: if the underlying post is deleted, taken private or made unavailable on the source platform, our cached preview will be removed within a reasonable period.

  • Creator rights. glide respects the rights of creators whose content is imported. We provide a takedown channel at team@justglide.ai for any creator or rights-holder who believes their content is appearing in glide without authorisation; see the "Copyright Complaints" section of our Terms.

  • No surveillance of others. Importing a creator's public post into your private plan does not give us, or you, any rights against that creator beyond what the source platform's terms and applicable law allow. We do not use imported third-party content to build profiles of the creators behind it for advertising or sale.

6. Consent to Electronic Communications, SMS and WhatsApp

By using the Service you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including by email, in-app notification, SMS and (where you have provided a WhatsApp number) WhatsApp messages, in connection with your Account, security, bookings, support, and the Service generally. You agree that such electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.

You can stop transactional SMS by replying STOP to any message; transactional messages required for security or to complete a booking you have initiated may continue. Marketing messages can be turned off in settings or by replying STOP / clicking unsubscribe.

Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

7. Third-Party Login and Social Networking Services

You may sign in or connect accounts with services such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest ("Social Networking Services"). When you do, the Social Networking Service shares with us the information you have permitted in your settings on that service. You should review the privacy and permission settings of those services. If you disconnect a Social Networking Service, we will stop receiving new data from it, but data already received remains subject to this Privacy Policy.

When you post or share content from glide back to a Social Networking Service, that content becomes subject to the Social Networking Service's policies, and people on that service may see and interact with it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may:

  • Access, update or correct your Account information through your settings or by contacting us.

  • Delete your Account at any time through the App or by emailing team@justglide.ai. We will delete or anonymise your Personal Information within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements and ongoing legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention, tax records, dispute defence).

  • Opt out of marketing through the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, in-app settings, or by replying STOP to a marketing SMS/WhatsApp.

  • Withdraw any permission (photos, contacts, location, calendar, notifications, microphone, camera) via your device settings at any time. Some features will stop working when permissions are revoked.

  • Object to or restrict processing that relies on our legitimate interests.

  • Disconnect any third-party account at any time from your glide settings.

If you are a Data Principal in India, you have the rights of access, correction, completion, updating, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination, subject to the conditions and exceptions under the DPDP Act. Our Grievance Officer / Data Protection Officer details are below. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India if you are dissatisfied with our response.

EEA, UK, Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR) rights. If you are in these jurisdictions, you additionally have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal bases are: (a) performance of our contract with you, (b) your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), (c) our legitimate interests (operating, improving and securing the Service, and pursuing our business interests in a way that is not overridden by your rights), and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

California, Colorado, Virginia and other US state rights. Where applicable, you have rights to know, access, correct, delete, port, opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell, but we may engage in "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising in some contexts; you can opt out via in-app controls or by emailing team@justglide.ai), and to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not discriminate against users who exercise these rights. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where technically practicable.

Authorised agents. You may use an authorised agent to make a rights request; we will require proof of authorisation and your identity.

Verification. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to a request, and we may decline or limit requests permitted by law (for example, where the request is unfounded, excessive or would harm another's rights).

Do Not Track. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because no common industry standard has been finalised.

9. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • Account data – for the life of your Account and for up to 24 months thereafter, unless a longer period is required by law.

  • Imported content and derived signals – for the life of your Account, unless you delete the item earlier.

  • Bookings, tax and payment records – for the period required by tax, accounting, anti-fraud and consumer-protection laws (typically 7 years in India).

  • AI prompts and outputs – for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

  • Logs and security data – for up to 12 months.

  • Backups – we may retain residual copies in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion from primary systems.

When retention is no longer necessary or lawful, we delete or anonymise the data.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, vulnerability scanning, principle of least privilege, and security training for staff. We follow the reasonable security practices and procedures expected under Indian law, including the standards set out under Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules (broadly aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 controls).

No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss will never occur. You are responsible for safeguarding your password, keeping your device secure, and notifying us immediately at team@justglide.ai if you suspect any unauthorised use of your Account. In the event of a personal-data breach that is likely to result in significant harm, we will notify affected Data Principals and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

11. International Data Transfers

glide is operated from India. We use cloud infrastructure and service providers in India, the United States, the European Union and other jurisdictions. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in countries other than your country of residence, which may have different data-protection laws.

Where required, we put in place appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers out of the EEA / UK, supplementary technical measures (such as encryption and pseudonymisation where appropriate), and any further measures required under the DPDP Act once the Central Government notifies restricted territories. You may request a copy of the relevant clauses by emailing team@justglide.ai.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, mobile SDKs, local storage and similar technologies for: (a) strictly necessary functions (sign-in, security, fraud prevention), (b) preferences and language, (c) analytics, and (d) where you have opted in (or where required), advertising measurement. You can manage cookies through your browser and device settings, and through any in-app cookie banner where shown. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Service.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service contains links to and embeds content from third-party sites and services (including travel partners, social-media platforms, mapping providers and creator pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. Their handling of your information is governed by their own terms and policies, which you should review.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or the law. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will notify you by in-app notice, email, or a prominent notice on the Site before the change takes effect, to the extent required by law. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance, unless additional consent is required by law (in which case we will obtain it).

15. Grievance Officer and Contact
